Therapeutic Pilates Seminars
PT, OMT, Pilates Instructor, MLDGeorge Vogiatzis graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of Patras, Greece in 2011.He realized early in his career the twofold contribution of Pilates to physical well-being: it is an ideal form of exercise and at the same time it constitutes a key component in rehabilitation protocols. He thus completed the MK Pilates training in 2016 and acquired the Pilates Instructor certification having had Michael King as his professor.
In 2017, having completed the Manual Therapy training organized by the Greek Association of Manipulative Physiotherapists recognized by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT), he obtained the Orthopaedic Manual Therapist certification. In the same year he completed the training in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), “Vodder Technique” and became an accredited MLD Therapist.
Being strongly committed to therapeutic exercise and motivated to build his expertise in this field, he attended seminars such as the Medical Training Therapy (International Academy of Medical Education) and the Human Movement Control and cooperated with several sports associations.
His need for an holistic approach as well as his belief that the human body is a single structure in need of a multi-level treatment led him to attend several training programs, among which Visceral Manipulation (by the Barral Institute), Clinical Anatomy (by Athens Medical School), Physiology of Pain and Red Flags etc.
He has been in charge of the Physioclinica Physiotherapy Centre since 2019, where he undertakes the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, therapeutic exercise and acute and chronic pain treatment through therapeutic Pilates.
In 2021 he started his cooperation with Physio and Pilates Therapy as an assistant instructor in therapeutic Pilates seminars.
